I go to a lot of music festivals, and used this tent for two years before I had any issues with it. It is easy to put up and take down, and it doesn’t take up a lot of space in the trunk. The screened vents are very nice when the weather is a bit too warm. However, I was asleep in this tent at a music festival when Hurricane Ike hit Arkansas. Water-proof my bum. Everything in my tent was completely soaked, including myself. But the only damage to the tent was a ripped pole guide, and I can sew that back on easily. So if you’re planning on going camping where the weather might turn violent, this is not the best tent. Otherwise, great product for the price. Just don’t go camping in hurricanes.

I picked up this tent, because I have been doing a lot of car camping lately with my lady friend and my old tent was a little cramped for both of us and various sundries. When I first set the tent up in my flat, I realized the thing IS HUGE! Setup was a snap and takedown just as easy. It has room for a king size inflatable with room to spare. We had a king size inflatable, day packs, cooler, and a couple smaller bags…and still had plenty of space left. It’s a great tent. For rthw price, I wasn’t really expecting it to be so nice. My only complaints are that it doesn’t compact very well. I can barely fit it in m pack and the second is that it’s heavy. Not recommended for any hike or walk in camping, but is fantastic for car camping or of you need a tent for multiple small kids.

This was a birthday gift for my 9 year old grandson. Well, the first one came with a hole in it but Amazon was great and sent me a free shipping label to send it back and shipped out a new one immediately. It came very quickly and in time for my grandson’s birthday. He absolutely loves it. It was easy to set up, they put a blow up mattress in it and it fit perfectly. He had friends over to sleep out in the backyard three nights in a row. They played games (by flashlight)told stories and had a blast. My daughter said it’s great for two adults but three would be a little tight, especially with the mattress but next year my son-in-law will take my grandson to the state park and it will be perfect for the two of them. It has been great fun and cost less than some electronic toy. Also better than those "kid" tents that are OK in the house but blow away outside.

We seasonal camp, and my son likes to sleep in this tent by himself. Great little tent. It says up for 6 months. Looks as great as the day we put it up. great for the money.

The Top 3 Quick Methods To Relieve Stress

We all need to learn how to relieve stress at least a bit better. In today’s world, people have so much to do that they lose sight of the things that are quite essential to their well being. In fact, stress management tips are fast becoming something we search for when we do get some time. That’s because so many of us just do not have the time we need to manage stress like we should.

To learn how to relieve stress, you first need to analyze your lifestyle. To do this, take a break from it all and just look at all that is happening. Determine if there are things that you are doing that are counterproductive to what you want your life to be. Do you work long hours? Do you find yourself stressing and worrying about things that really do not provide any benefit to your life? Analyze your life first for your first step in how to relieve stress.

Now, consider the physical effects of stress. Does your body ache? Do you have signs of aging and you are much too young to have them? Do you find yourself forgetting things? Do you find yourself skipping meals, eating fast food instead of healthy food and not getting enough exercise? These are the physical effects of stress. To learn how to relieve stress, you need to notice just what it is that you are doing to your body.

3 Quick Things You Can Do To Relieve Stress

1. Block out one hour per day or 4 hours twice a week for time for just you. During this time, you will spend your time relaxing. Do not work around the house. Do not do any work for your job. Just relax.

2. Purchase stress relief products and use them. Purchase a stress relief ball or play a stress relief game on your computer. Incorporate something small to help you to learn how to relieve stress.

3. Say no to just one thing per week. If you have too much on your plate, say no to something. Do not volunteer for something and tell those taking advantage of you to hit the road. You need to worry about you first.

These stress management tips are great ways for you to start taking good care of yourself. You will find numerous things that you can do to help you to handle the hectic life you are living, but you need to commit to some change if you are to find benefit in the long run. Just look at the physical effects of stress and you are sure to see why learning how to relieve stress is an essential part to you being healthy and well.

Review date : 2008-05-09
Recently I started walking 2-3 miles three times a week to supplement my gym exercise and aerobics. I had seen people walking with poles and I was impressed with their energy and graceful movement. After doing some research about the effectiveness of the poles, I decided to get a pair for both my husband and me. There is a wide variety of features and price tags. I wanted cork handles to help manage sweaty palms, hand straps to secure poles to my hands, easy adjustment, quality construction and durability, reasonable price. These poles had it all PLUS a bag to carry them in, extra "feet" to attach on varied terrain, and — most importantly — a GREAT PRICE. The poles are exactly as advertised and I have gotten used to using them. They are supposed to help burn at least 20% more calories during my walk. Burn, babies, burn!

How To Tune In Your Brain &amp Feel Confident With People In Moments

One day when I was in school, many years ago, the school principal wandered into our class room, sat down and started to talk.

He talked and talked; and there was nothing we could do to stop him seeing as how he was in charge!

For once he actually said something that interested me and I never forgot what he said. Not because he was so original but because he was the first person I heard saying it.

That day he spoke about the untapped potential of the human mind and how we are all capable of so much more than we realize.

And how once you learn how to use more of this vast intelligence you can become much more successful.

This distinction has a special significance when it comes to confidence. Because on those days when you are not feeling confident dealing with people the solution to your problems may seem elusive. Even though you are capable of handling the situations you find yourself in.

If you could approach each day with an attitude of demanding more from yourself than anyone else ever would - you would be shocked at what you can achieve. You would be using more of your potential and making great progress.

Silly tasks you have to perform then become stepping stones to something far grander and problems become opportunities for you to grow and impress not only yourself but everyone else around you.

The challenge for you right now comes down to getting started.

Once your engine is running the momentum will keep you going but what do you do if you feel stuck and unable to begin?

You need to learn how to run your brain!

All of that vast potential is not being used because you do not know how to activate it. When you discover how easy it is to become confident with people you will be amazed that something that once seemed so complicated can actually be so simple.

Here is something you can do right now to experience how your mind works.

Think of something you feel confident doing - maybe something you are good at. It does not matter what the activity is. What does matter is that you feel confident when you are doing it.

Now pick a second experience. Something that involves dealing with people. And make sure it is a situation where you have the capability to handle it only your confidence is low.

Now compare how you represent these two experiences in your mind in terms of pictures, sounds and feelings.

Take the second experience and change the way you think about it by giving the picture, sound and feeling the same qualities as the first experience. i.e. picture size and color, sound volume and pitch, intensity of feelings.

Imagine you are tuning in the pictures, sounds and feelings in the same way you would tune in a TV

This is difficult to do the first time you try it but it gets easier with practice.

Why does this process work?

Because the way you represent experiences in your mind determines how you feel. Its like when you watch a scary movie and you heart is pounding even though you are not in danger.

Certain images, certain sounds and a certain atmosphere all combine to change how you feel. However if you changed one key element you would no longer feel scared.

For example if the sound changed to become a high pitched cartoon like voice you might even smile and laugh.

In the context of feeling confident — when you start to discover how you make yourself feel confident by the way you tune your brain you are on the right track to feeling confident whenever you choose.

When you learn more about peak performance you will be able to do this in a matter of minutes. And go from feeling afraid to feeling energized and confident in moments.

This time spend learning how to run your brain will transform the quality of your life even more quickly than you can imagine.

Enjoy rewiring your brain!

I’m disappointed that the terms "Ultralight" and "Green" are used with this product. I think this misleading attempt to cash in on publicity for new "ultralite" synthetic materials used for hiking, mountain and rock climbing. It’s also advertised as "great for backpacking," but I don’t think so. Camping Hammocks exist, such as those from Hennessy, which are complete alternatives to camping tents. They do have "ultralite" models which use more expensive materials to minimize weight. Ultralite Backpacker A-Sym (1.15 lbs) Hennessy Hammock Expedition A-sym The Green, Ultralight Travel Hammock might be great for other purposes, but the marketing makes me suspicious and unconfortable. Does it stand up to mold, mildew and rot in storage? Will it last for more than a summer or two?

Review date : 2008-07-30
This is a dangerous product - do not buy it. The first time I used it the rope snapped and I almost landed head first on the ground. The problem is that the cheap eye hook they use has a sharp edge and will cut through the poor quality main support rope. I just bought a better quality Hammock, of the same design, at the Supermarket for $9.95.

I adore this lightweight hammock. It is easy to use and easy to love. Definite must for camping!

Review date : 2008-06-20
This product is great!! I actually bought it to hang under my daughter’s loft bed instead of the standard coach. She loves it. It is simple to hang up. It is incredibly light weight but can easily hold a 200lb man. It has enough material too. Great item. The one negative item is that when a grown man lays in it the hammock pulls tight and you can’t lay with your legs straight in front of you. But still great!!!

Review date : 2008-06-19
Three of these hammocks were bought for a camping trip with my kids (ages 12 and 14). The first observation, the hammock does not come with a attach it to a tree. So my kids learned how to braid cord into rope so we could hang our hammocks.

The item as its shown at the time of this review says it comes with a free hanging kit. It this hammock does not come with a hanging kit, make sure you get something to hang this hammock with - or you will be sleeping on the ground.

I was disappointed that the hammocks did not come with at least a few feet of nylon rope. All you get in this package is the hammock, no rope, no cord no nothing to hang it with. To fix this problem, I bought some nylon rope and some D-rings with an 800 pound safe working limit. The D-rings can now be used for other things, as needed.

The stuff sack is attached to the side of the hammock. This is a nice touch, as it prevents you from loosing the stuff sack and its nice for having your flashlight close by at night.

The hammock needs to be a little wider, as you can roll out of it somewhat easily. I was sitting next to the camp fire and heard a "thud" - looked over and my 14 year old son had rolled out of his hammock. Good thing for him it was only about a foot off the ground. While I was trying to go to sleep in the hammock, I rolled around and almost fell out.

Overall this is a good quality, but its made in communist china. I was disappointed to see that the hammock was not made in the USA.

What Is Optimum Performance?

What is Optimum Performance? This question raises different responses from different people. It causes people to ponder issues like:

  • Have you ever thought about how much better you could be doing in your business?

  • How about your career?

  • What about your relationship with someone you love?

  • How about the state of your health right now?

One or more of these areas most often needs a little more attention in day-to-day life. But there seems to be so much to do, so much to accomplish if ‘more’ is the focus.

Here?s a secret: the quest for more is a trap. It never stops. But the positive side is this: Optimum Performance is about playing life at the highest possible level, reaching our fullest potential.

Now the question is: if people are so full of potential, though, why are most not living up to their potential in every area of life? For some very good reasons that make perfect sense, take a look at desire, passion and fun.

DESIRE, PASSION & FUN

Do you remember when you were a kid and all you wanted to do was play? What was one thing you loved to do that you could do for hours and never want to stop? Then ask yourself why.

For most, it was probably because it was fun and exciting, and you felt good doing it. It made you happy and you never wanted to stop doing it until you dropped.

Of course, who couldn?t get hurt running, playing and challenging life once in awhile? But the reward of having fun, feeling free and the sense of accomplishment was worth the price. Youth are born natural risk takers.

But later on what happens? And why is it relevant to optimum performance?

Well, part of the reason you enjoyed what you did was the ‘positive feedback’ you received from others. The other more important part is because it was what you wanted to do. It didn’t really matter how ‘good’ you were. The ‘how good’ was secondary to just having fun.

It was the times you chose to do what you wanted that was the most fun and exhilarating. It wasn’t when someone else said you needed to do or should do something.

Optimum performance can only truly be achieved when ‘all of you’ is in the game. And life is just a game. You loved playing as a kid and it’s time to start playing again.

Just going through the motions in your relationship is so mediocre and not fun. Working in a job or career that you tolerate is not fun. Not earning the income you want is not fun. Not having the energy or health you want is not fun.

What’s NOT FUN in your life right now?

So the real question you are now faced with is this…do you want to have fun again? Do you want to play?

How great would the results be in each area of your life if it were fun again? Well it can be…and will be!

Do not confuse having fun with not putting in effort. You will achieve results in every area of your life in direct proportion to the effectiveness of the effort you put in, not the effort. Do not confuse activity with results.

In the coming months my focus will be to help you think about why you are getting the results you re in your life right now and how to significantly enjoy yourself more, so that the results are the by-product of having fun and doing what you love and want to do.

The game of life is about choosing what you really want. The real trick in having more is in becoming more and having fun. It is natural to grow and become more, when we do what we love and what we want.

Optimum performance is about doing the ‘right things’ really well.

Bad Advice From Linear Thinkers Posing As SoCalled Experts

There are way too many people on the Internet giving advice and calling themselves experts. How do I know this? Well, I have done quite a bit in my life and accomplished many things in many human endeavors and I try to stay up on the latest and greatest technologies in all the industries I have participated in.

I often find in trade journals and in online articles folks that pretend to be experts in their field and yet I have never heard of them before. In fact they have never done anything in the actual reality of the marketplace and yet they claim to be experts because they are writers. A writer is not an expert, they may be an expert, but merely being a writer does not make one an expert in a human endeavor other than writing.

Someone who is accomplished something in the marketplace in an industry could be said to be an expert in their industry for they have achieved something. We have too many linear thinking folks giving advice and calling themselves experts who were nothing more than impostors and posers. This has concerned me for a very long time and I am troubled and bothered by the fakery and trickery of these self-promoting, self-aggrandizing and underachieved individuals.

If you are an expert in your field then people know who you are and what you have done. If you choose to write about what you have done then your advice and articles or books can be considered relevant. Otherwise you are wasting everyone’s time and hurting people with bad advice and charging too much for that advice. Giving out false information is not the same is giving advice. Please consider this in 2006.

David Relying On The Lord’s Lovingkindness And To His Children Supplying What Is Needed Daily

Show Your marvelous lovingkindness . . . Oh, continue Your lovingkindness to those who know You . . . Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You . . .. Cause me to hear your lovingkindness in the morning, For in You do I trust. (Psalm 17:7; Psalm 36:10; Psalm 63:3; and Psalm 143:8)

There are many reasons why David is a wonderful Old Testament example of God’s people living by His grace. We can see that David confessed the Lord as his strength and his refuge. The LORD is the strength of my life . . . God is a refuge for us (Psalm 27:1 and Psalm 62:8). In our present verses we see David relying upon the Lord’s lovingkindness.

Lovingkindness is an Old Testament term that is closely related to the New Testament term, grace. It speaks of God’s zealous, loyal, steadfast love toward His people. It includes the truth that God is merciful (that is, He provides a way to hold back from us the judgment that our sins deserve). Yet, it goes beyond that wonderful fact. Lovingkindness also includes God’s goodness (that is, His commitment to do good things for His children day by day, supplying whatever is needed in our lives).

Much insight into this word (and appreciation for it) is found in David’s frequent reference to it and reliance upon it. Show Your marvelous lovingkindness. David had a deep desire that the Lord would demonstrate the wondrous reality of His lovingkindness through his daily walk. He knew that the Lord’s lovingkindness was what actually made life what God intended it to be. Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise You. David praised God for His faithful goodness toward him, which was far better and far beyond, merely enjoying the natural things that life offers to all who exist. The Lord is good to all who live on this earth. He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust (Matthew5:45). However, His lovingkindness is shown to those who have a true relationship with Him by faith. David wanted this goodness to be his ongoing supply. Oh, continue Your lovingkindness to those who know You.

David sought the Lord for the work of His lovingkindness, from morning time on through the day. Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning, For in You do I trust. As the Lord poured out His loyal, steadfast love, David gave glory to the Lord among His people. I have not concealed Your lovingkindness . . . from the great congregation (Psalm 40:10).

Prayer

Dear Lord of lovingkindness, I thank You for Your loyal, steadfast love toward me through the years. You have had mercy upon me. You have shown great goodness toward me. Help me to point others to Your marvelous lovingkindness, in Jesus? name Amen.

THE possibilities of prayer are gauged by faith in God?s ability to do. Faith is the one prime condition by which God works. Faith is the one prime condition by which man prays. Faith draws on God to its full extent. Faith gives character to prayer. A feeble faith has always brought forth feeble praying. Vigorous faith creates vigorous praying. At the close of a parable, ?And he spoke a parable unto them to this end, that men always ought to pray, and not to faint,? in which He stressed the necessity of vigorous praying, Christ asks this pointed question, ?When the Son of Man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?? If more information is required on prayer and faith please see my blog at byfaith-enterprises.blogspot.com and leave a comment. For prayer or any questions you may have, leave the request in the comment section. Sing-up and get my FREE eBook and prayer report. Keep praying to the Great I AM.
