Just came back from Grand Canyon.Tent was simply perfect.Easy set up ,best ventilation lots of space.LOVE IT!!!

Review date : 2008-07-18
I spent endless hours online looking for a good tent. This was my first time camping and I was not sure at all what type of tent to buy. There is simply too much to chose from. I was basically looking for a reasonably price 3 season tent with good rain protection. Eureka SUnrise had the best reviews and I decided to go with this one.

We went for 2 nights camping at Acadia National Park in Maine. I tried to put it together myself alone but it was too hard to do it. I had to ask a friend to help me out. WIth 2 persons it is very easy to put up. The feature i liked the best was the 4 windows. It was a bit hot during the day and the cross ventilation kept the tent inside cool. At night it got a bit cold so we zipped the windows and after that it was nice and cozy inside. It did not rain so can’t comment on that aspect. It was easy to fold it and took a lot less time. The poles are a little heavy so if you have the $$$ then I would suggest to go with light weight aluminum pole tent.

I gave this tent 4 stars because the tent description said that even a single person can put it up but I found it very hard to do it especially there is no way a single person can put the rainfly by himself. The tent is 7 foot hight at the center and the rainfly has to go over it. You have to put the rainfly on the ground flat first, put the poles in it and then lift it and put it on top of tent. It is a huge rainfly and if its windy it is almost impossible for a single person to do it.

Overall I am glad that I purchased this tent. However at I paid $210 for this tent and not it is selling for $174 :(. I would say it is a good deal.

We went through four different tents and this one was by far the best to set up and the space available for everyone is great! My daughter’s favorite part are the cup holders and shelves just her size.

Review date : 2007-12-29
We looked around at a number of family tents. We purchased one and found that it was extremely difficult to set up in even the most minimal amount of wind. My wife and I are both experienced campers and hikers so we were surprised when we couldn’t get the tent up properly. We even borrowed a friend’s family tent and proceeded to rip the base the first time we tried to stretch the tent out to stake it.

This tent is different. It is logical to put up. Once up it is spacious. The first time we put it up only took ten or fifteen minutes (include the time to yell at our 1 year old and 3 year old to get off it or we can’t put it up). Internally it has some nice storage features (lots of little pockets and places to store items). I never thought any of that kind of stuff was usefull or necessary until trying to find where the diaper cream went amongst all of the sleeping bags. The tent has nice features without appearing loaded with gimmicks.

And here is the real clincher - the sack that the tent comes in actually fits the tent. Not like you have to bring a hydraulic press to squeeze it in - it actually fits. What a relief after a long weekend of camping. I have never written a review before but was moved enough by the quality of this product.

The only downside I can think of - the stakes included are the cheezy plastic variety that don’t always work in all soil types. And there is not a waterproof assembly instruction printed on the bag (always a nice touch but not needed here since assembly is so logical). Also the way the rain fly goes on is a bit odd (attaching the cross poles to the fly and THEN sliding it over the top).

But the downsides so pale in comparison to the pluses. We are 100% satisfied so far!

Review date : 2007-09-29
We bought this tent to replace a similar Eureka tent that lasted more than 10 years. We love our new Eureka tent! We didn’t even use seam sealer, but it still stayed dry inside during rain on our recent camping trip.

The old tent had four main poles that connected to a center piece, and it was very easy to put up, even by one person. This new tent is just a little harder to put up because there are two very long main poles that arch across the top from corner to corner. We decided that the best process for putting it up was to first stake two corners on the same side of the tent. Then, with the tent flat, we put the two poles through the sleeves and attached them at the two staked corners. Next, the two of us each stood an an unstaked corner so we could simultaneously arch the two poles and fasten the other ends in place. Finally we staked down the third and fourth corner and the sides. Putting up the fly was a breeze.

The tent has a large window on each side, and the zippers worked smoothly! The cupholders and pockets are great, and there are little loops on the inside of seams so you can hang other stuff.

The Key To Immediate Success!

I am sorry but there is no key to immediate success here. In fact I doubt that you will ever find immediate success anywhere. If you want to become successful at anything it takes practice but, most importantly ?perseverance.? For a better understanding let?s examine the definition of perseverance in the answers dictionary. It means the act of persisting or persevering; continuing or repeating behavior. So what is my point? In order for you to succeed in the attainment of any goal you must persevere thru all obstacles.

The truth is that in our society we have lost patience. We want it all at once and fast. Yeah right! I wish that it were that easy. Please do not mistake my tone as being negative. It is not my intention to discourage you. However, I am being completely honest because I am not trying to sell you a get rich quick scam.

I believe in following your dreams and aiming towards your full potential but you must first learn that in order to get anything you must work hard for it. You will not obtain a degree if you do not go to college and study hard for an extensive amount of time. You will not start a business and earn millions of dollars without investing your time and effort in to it. I can go on an on but, I am sure that you get the point. Anything worthwhile takes time and practice. Life is not perfect and you will find 101 barriers blocking your path towards success. Those barriers or complications are the reason why so many people fail to accomplish their goals.

The bottom line is that once you understand the connection between perseverance and success, nothing in life will hold you back. Why? It is simple; when problems arise you will know that you just have to approach them one at a time. They may slow you down for a bit but you will be unstoppable. Once you learn from all your mistakes you will become and expert in the field and soon, success will be knocking on your door. Wow, imagine how that would feel?

The hatchet is good. The knife was not properly sharpened, after I sharpened it, a good knife. The sheath is bad, it can not hold the knife securely, hetcht part is OK.

I really didn’t expect this product to be as good quality as it was… After a thorough inspection, I decree this product to be of high quality while "held in my hands". (I can’t wait to chop some stuff and find out.) The picture obviously leaves much to be desired, but the whole thing actually looks better than the picture. However, I wonder why the brand I received is actually Smith & Wesson instead of Schrade? No worries though, both brand names are equal to me (whatever). If these tools performs as well as they look, this is a an absolute bargain, and I totally recommend buying it. But if it breaks… CURSE YOU!!! (lol, j/k) (NOT REALLY!)

Develop Onehour Workshops To Increase Your Visibility

60 minutes ? so little time, so much to do! Short workshops are the perfect way for a coach or consultant to build a loyal following. If you follow a simple formula, you can minimize the challenges and increase the WOW factor.

1. Pick a compelling topic and title.

2. Include the five key components: buy-in lead, one big idea, a list of steps, or an overview of a process or topic, a demonstration or hands-on component, and a conclusion that includes a call to action.

3. Provide a take-away that whets the appetite.

The topic for a one-hour workshop must be compelling. It must show off your skills, provide extraordinary value for the participants and at the same time leave them eager for more. The title should grab the interest of your potential audience and either raise a question or tell how you will provide a solution to a common problem. Make the title action-oriented. Develop a short list of topics that you can speak about easily and create skeleton outlines for each that you can customize for different audiences.

The structure for your workshop includes clear components that maintain a structure and flow that holds interest, builds credibility, involves the participants, and establishes you as a valuable resource (i.e. someone people what to buy from!). Start with a compelling buy-in. Whether you provide a startling fact, scare the audience into needing something or ask a question that serves as a focus for the workshop, you have about a minute to make it clear why your audience needs to pay close attention. Stick to one big idea. People are easily overwhelmed by too many ideas. An overwhelmed individual will not seek out your services.

The body of your presentation should move back and forth between providing information and giving participants the opportunity to discuss, practice, or otherwise experience that information. These experiential components allow individuals to assimilate the information and also make each one feel that they?ve gotten individual attention. Midway through this section, it?s appropriate to insert a small plug for your services ? if you take my e-course, you?ll receive in-depth information on each of these topics.

Finally, spend the last few minutes on a call to action. After all, you?re doing this workshop to attract participants to your services! Summarize what you?ve said, then very clearly let people know how to get more. Increase and cement this desire for your services by giving people something to take away. Have a handout that covers the main points of your presentation. Give out a short demonstration CD ? these are very inexpensive to create. If you are selling a product, give out a small sample.

Above all, be sure that your contact information is prominently displayed throughout the workshop. Even if your only handout is an agenda, be sure it includes your name, phone number, email address and website. Create a list of products and services and offer a discount for on-the-spot registration.

There are continuing education centers, religious organizations, spas, coffee houses, civic organizations, and groups of all sizes just begging for speakers to provide information to their groups. Many companies offer brown-bag seminars at lunchtime. Libraries and bookstores offer learning experiences. You are only limited by your imagination!

Remove The Clutter Out Of Your Life

Are you ready for new opportunities to enter your life? If so then you need to review what old things are holding you back in your life. As much as it might sound strange sometimes we hold onto things in our life that no longer serves a purpose but they are also at the same time holding us back from better opportunities because we don’t have room in our lives to receive them. As the saying goes if both your hands are holding onto something then how can you receive something better unless you first drop what is in your hands. That truth holds also for the things in your life. Some people like to call it a spring clean and whatever name you want to call it by it can actually be one of the most productive exercises you can do on a regular basis.

A spring clean needn’t take hours on end, just set aside an hour every few months and review everything in your life. You will be amazed at how effective it is in reviving your energy and bringing in new opportunities in your life. I once decided to throw out my whole wardrobe of clothes, I hadn’t been buying clothes for a while and many items were no longer in fashion. I decided to put it all into a garbage bag and donated it to a charity.

To my amazement within a short while my wardrobe was again filled but this time with clothes I actually looked forward to wearing. I started to receive clothes as gifts and when I went shopping I started to notice clothes that I liked and bought them on sale. The fact is that unless I first made room in my wardrobe for new clothes then I wouldn’t have been in a position to receive all the new clothes that I did.

So if you haven’t done a spring clean lately then now is as good a time as any. The first thing you want to do is to start with one room at a time. Get some garbage bags together and review everything in that space. Be realistic, don’t assume that something is going to come in handy someday if you haven’t used it for years. Whatever the item is, the rule is that if you haven’t found a need for it within the last 12 months then you should really think about tossing it out. What you will find is that the space you create by throwing out the clutter in your life will actually be rejuvenated and it will be a more pleasant environment altogether.

So once you have removed the clutter from your life, sit back and watch the new opportunities that come your way because you have made room for them in your life.

Power Of Positive Thinking

Every now and then, we hear about positive thinking and negative thinking. Positive thinking which is about setting your mind to the right direction by thinking and acting rightly. Negative thinking is about setting one?s mind towards defeat, fear and failure.

It is undisputable that an individual who thinks positively will actually locate his success route. But what are the ?raw materials? he?d need along with this roadmap to achieve? The raw materials are the empowerment tools or ?power? to positive thinking. They are VISION, MISSION and ACTION

VISION

A lot of people talk about vision but do not know what it actually is. Denotatively, vision is a vivid picture created by imagination. It could also be something that can only be seen with insight or the power of imagination ( Merriam Webster Dictionary- Home and office edition). Vision is not just about prophecies or testimonies. It is about your dream or goal created in your mind. This is the major purpose of an achiever. For you to embark on a positive step towards success, you must have a vision. This must be after you must have discovered yourself (as I discussed in my previously). You have to bear in mind that no dream is too big or too small. Every positive dream could be significant to the world. An individual has to bring out purpose from his life because a life spent without purpose is like an empty treasure box.

MISSION

Mission is the next thing a productive individual should have. Anyone who wants to bring his or her vision to life has to plan and strategize how he/she will go about achieving it. The earth was not created in a day neither were monuments built overnight. It took strategic planning and steps to accomplish those tasks. An achiever has to map out ways and methods of making a successful journey by outlining and organizing his/her plans. He/she will have to think of what works and what does and doesn?t work. It is also important to get the right information from the right sources. This could be acquired by asking questions, research via mass media or any other technique that you think best for you. By doing all these, an individual becomes proactive.

ACTION

Furthermore, the journey doesn?t end when a traveler refuels his vehicle. Refueling I only a propellant to the next point in other to complete his journey successfully. The next point involves the utilization of the third empowerment tool which is action. This is when an achiever moves from proactivity to activity! This is when you have to practically make things work! Or better still, the application stage! It?s a popular saying that ?actions tell better than words? The extent of your success depends on what you actually put in through your actions. Your input determines your output. To have a high level of efficiency in your goals, you have to put in your best. By being dedicated, focused and determined, you are erecting strong pillars of success for yourself. Always bear in mind that ?commitment is the mother of achievement?. The depth of your struggle determines the height of your success.

AN IMPORTANT POINT !

An achiever must acknowledge the fact that there is a Force behind all existence. An invincible, invisible, mighty and powerful Force who grants us all possess. A successful person will have to reason and appreciate such blessings by acting rightly in the best manner possible. Such individual must behave as a rational human being and also develop a good character. Honesty is very important in whatever we do. Humility is also important because developing pride and arrogance is like constructing a sky-scraper without pillars. Imagine the result?

In conclusion, I?d once again like to emphasize that living a life of purpose is about having a roadmap known as positive thinking. This has to be activated by three powerful forces namely; Mission, Vision and Action as enumerated earlier. More importantly, never forget your source of existence (God Almighty). I wish you success.
