Did not need to fear where I went. 3 months in a country using holes in the ground without having to stress my bladder! I am telling you this is worth the money, the peace of mind and the trying to hold it to the next stop. I was in a country where squatting to pee is the norm, Freshette saved the day. It is a discreet and perfect traveling companion. After 1 week of using it, all my friends knew about the benefits of my new best friend. This product is a must-have for every female who travels, or who often finds herself without adequate bathroom facilities.

It was too bulky for what I was looking for, which was a sleek design to carry in my bag. The disposable bag was a ziplock basically. It was also twice as expensive as a comparable product that I found later on the internet. And I have returned it 2 weeks ago and have not been compensated for it.

My husband and I have really gotten into hiking, however I would always limit the duration of the hike because of the fear of having to go to the bathroom outdoors. Some of the trails we go to have alligators in the area, and I’m really too scared to wander too far into the brush. This product is the answer. I can finally pee standing up! LOL…what a concept.

I just got the product today and with great trepidation decided to give it a whirl. I stood over the toilet (clearly expecting to make a mess of the bathroom and my shorts), pulled the leg of my shorts off to the side, did the same thing with my underwear, put the Freshette in place and let loose! Didn’t spill a drop…amazing. I’m probably getting too detailed, but I know that I appreciate details when I’m reading reviews. If you wear a pantyliner wiping isn’t really necessary. I know this sounds gross, but if you’re out on a trail and your hot, sweaty and dirty…it doesn’t really matter. Rinse the Freshette with some water, wrap it in a papertowel and place it in a ziplock and clean it when you get home. I also think that if you wear loose, baggy shorts you can just pull them aside with the least hassle. I haven’t tried them with tighter pants/shorts yet, but I imagine that with some practice it will be just as easy. You can really urinate without showing any skin or having to squat in some unsightly fashion.

I’ve used these things for the past 20 years - hiking, whitewater canoeing, and biking. I even bought my drysuit with a men’s relief zipper in the front so I can wear men’s style long john pants, although it’s esp. handy when just wearing shorts in the summer. I have a small zippered bag that I store it in, along with a clean sandwich baggie (for after it’s used) and a small bottle of Purell. The Purell’s only needed on a two-pee trip!

I just went on a trip and didn’t need to use it. But knowing it was there let me venture out a bit further than I might have. I’ve tested it and it does seem to work. The tube is a separate piece if you were wondering like I was. So it does fit in my fanny pack for hiking. The "travel pouch" is only a zip-lock bag (about 8 1/4 x 4 3/8) with printing and diagrams on the outside so I need to find a better way to keep it private, store it damp and store it dry.

Coaching For Success

I would like to talk to you about how coaching can benefit you, and the superb training I have received with Rivas Palmer in the UK. Initially I first received coaching in 1994, whilst working in the Financial Services sector, and coaching enabled me to prioritise my goals, as well as boost my self-esteem and increasing my confidence levels.

My coach helped me to recognise and identify my deep-rooted concerns, and the fear that accompanied them.

We would set specific goals, with time periods set for their accomplishments, and review them on a weekly basis for an hours session. I would always be make it clear that I would not judge the client, criticise, nor offer solutions.

We would take each goal separately, by looking at the reality of each situation, and exploring by digging deep to see how the reality of each situation was affecting my attitude to move forward. We would then explore the options the client came up with, and prioritise which ones were most important, and be ready to take action.

I would then ask;How committed are you to doing this task on a scale of 1-10 ? If they said 10, I know they were serious about moving forward. If they said 7 or 8, I would ask; What would need to happen to make it a 10? It may be overcoming fear of rejection, for example.

Achieving results from coaching is about taking positive action on those key areas that have been decided upon, with confidence and commitment. I would then follow up on those actions in the next session, to establish whether those actions had indeed been taken. If the tasks had not been done, I would challenge them and ask why.

This could have alot to do with motivation, the fear being that the client does not really want to perform the tasks to move forward, or perhaps being gripped by fear.

My job as a coach would then be to review the options with the client, to establish whether they were in deed beneficial to the clients progress or goal, and see if we can approach ina more confident way. On the positive side, if the client has achieved the tasks, I would then offer praise to the client, and encourage rewarding themselves, because they had taken the necessary action to move their lives forward in a positive direction.

In summary, coaching for success is a process, and requires patience and understanding both from the coach and client, in order to experience change, and to get them to where they want to be. I am able to use my life experiences and coaching skills to successfully coach clients from all walks of life.
