I go to a lot of music festivals, and used this tent for two years before I had any issues with it. It is easy to put up and take down, and it doesn’t take up a lot of space in the trunk. The screened vents are very nice when the weather is a bit too warm. However, I was asleep in this tent at a music festival when Hurricane Ike hit Arkansas. Water-proof my bum. Everything in my tent was completely soaked, including myself. But the only damage to the tent was a ripped pole guide, and I can sew that back on easily. So if you’re planning on going camping where the weather might turn violent, this is not the best tent. Otherwise, great product for the price. Just don’t go camping in hurricanes.

I picked up this tent, because I have been doing a lot of car camping lately with my lady friend and my old tent was a little cramped for both of us and various sundries. When I first set the tent up in my flat, I realized the thing IS HUGE! Setup was a snap and takedown just as easy. It has room for a king size inflatable with room to spare. We had a king size inflatable, day packs, cooler, and a couple smaller bags…and still had plenty of space left. It’s a great tent. For rthw price, I wasn’t really expecting it to be so nice. My only complaints are that it doesn’t compact very well. I can barely fit it in m pack and the second is that it’s heavy. Not recommended for any hike or walk in camping, but is fantastic for car camping or of you need a tent for multiple small kids.

This was a birthday gift for my 9 year old grandson. Well, the first one came with a hole in it but Amazon was great and sent me a free shipping label to send it back and shipped out a new one immediately. It came very quickly and in time for my grandson’s birthday. He absolutely loves it. It was easy to set up, they put a blow up mattress in it and it fit perfectly. He had friends over to sleep out in the backyard three nights in a row. They played games (by flashlight)told stories and had a blast. My daughter said it’s great for two adults but three would be a little tight, especially with the mattress but next year my son-in-law will take my grandson to the state park and it will be perfect for the two of them. It has been great fun and cost less than some electronic toy. Also better than those "kid" tents that are OK in the house but blow away outside.

We seasonal camp, and my son likes to sleep in this tent by himself. Great little tent. It says up for 6 months. Looks as great as the day we put it up. great for the money.

The Power Of Goals Gordon The Tank Engine

Lately I have been studying mindset and goals, and wanted to share a Success story in our family.

Our 3 year old Quinn is potty training, and has had a huge goal to get Gordon the tank engine. We were having a hard time getting him accustomed to the idea of using the toilet, until one day we went to Barnes and Noble. Was it a book on Potty training you might ask???? No!! We were looking in the Kids section, and up on the top shelf, Quinn eyed a Gordon Engine toy. Quinn has always been a fan of Thomas, but this was a burning desire. For the next hour every word that came out of his mouth was Gordon, and it ended in a screaming fit when we tried to leave. As I was doing research on goals. I thought Hey lets give this a shot

So I sat Down with Quinn and told him that if he went Potty in the toilet for one week, he could have Gordon. He smiled and said Gordon…I said you can have it, but you have to work for it.

The next day my wife made him a chart. On the chart was a train track, with picture of Gordon. Each day that he completed his goal of going Potty in the toilet, he could move Gordon one stop closer to the end of the track. Everyday we would go over the chart and talk about Gordon. We built the dream with him, and showed him pictures, and games of Gordon online.

Well today Quinn finished his week long trek and we are going to buy Gordon tomorrow.! Congratulations Quinn!!!

So how does this apply to you and I?????

Well Quinn had a huge dream.. he wanted that train. We set a goal that was a stretch for him to achieve his dream of the toy. We tracked his daily progress and reviewed his dream VS. his actions. It wasn’t until he achieved his goal that he got his dream. You can have it, but you have to work for it.

Set goals..track it daily.. review your goals…make your dream come true!!!
